| Since graduating in
Mechanical Engineering in 1986, Dr Magill has worked and researched in the
application of computer technology to the improvement of the Engineering
Process.
Recognising the need for more sophisticated management of an increasingly complex Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing (CADCAM) environment Dr Magill has, for some years, concentrated in the area of the management of Electronic Product Definitions (EPD). His work has covered all aspects of EPD from Data Structure definition, through Process re-design to Organisation restructuring. Dr Magill has gained considerable practical experience in this field through his work implementing the advanced CADCAM and PDM systems at Short Brothers Plc. in Belfast. |
